Maviret Tablets — Glecaprevir + Pibrentasvir 100+40 mg (84 Tabs)

Prescribed by a hepatologist or infectious disease specialist for the treatment of:

• 🔹 Chronic Hepatitis C (HCV): In adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older (or weighing at least 45 kg) across all major genotypes (1-6).
• 🔹 Specific Populations: Suitable for patients without cirrhosis or with compensated cirrhosis, including those with any stage of renal impairment.

Sales Unit: Carton containing 84 film-coated tablets (exactly a 4-week supply). Strength: 100 mg / 40 mg per tablet.

⚠️ APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

• Dosage: The standard daily dose is 3 tablets.
• Administration: All 3 tablets must be taken together, once a day, strictly with food. Swallow the tablets whole; do not crush or chew them.
• ✋ Missed Dose: If you miss a dose and it has been less than 18 hours, take it with food. If it has been more than 18 hours, skip the missed dose and take the next one at your regular time. Never take a double dose!

• ⛔ Severe Liver Disease: Contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic impairment (decompensated cirrhosis, Child-Pugh B or C).
• ⛔ Drug Interactions: Strictly prohibited from being taken concurrently with atazanavir, rifampin, carbamazepine, St. John’s wort, and ethinyl estradiol-containing contraceptives.
• Hypersensitivity to glecaprevir, pibrentasvir, or any of the excipients.
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding (safety has not been fully established; use only if advised by a doctor).

Maviret is generally very well tolerated with a high safety profile. Potential side effects include:

• 🧠 Nervous System: Headache (the most common side effect, usually mild).
• 💤 General: Fatigue, asthenia (feeling weak or lacking energy).
• 🤢 Gastrointestinal: Mild nausea, diarrhea (infrequent).
• 🩸 Warning: In patients with a history of Hepatitis B (HBV), DAA treatment can cause HBV reactivation. Doctors must screen for HBV prior to initiating therapy.
