Tucaxen 150 mg (Tucatinib) is a selective HER2 tyrosine kinase inhibitor used in the treatment of HER2-positive breast cancer.
Manufacturer: Everest Pharmaceuticals Ltd.. Each pack contains 30 tablets. The drug is highly selective for HER2, allowing effective tumor targeting with less EGFR-related toxicity and a more predictable tolerability profile.

Indicated for the treatment of adult patients with:

- 🔹 After prior anti-HER2 therapy: in patients previously treated with one or more HER2-directed regimens.
- 🔹 Brain metastases: may be particularly beneficial in patients with CNS involvement due to demonstrated intracranial activity.
Packaging: 150 mg tablets.
⚠️ ADMINISTRATION PROTOCOL:
- Standard Dose: Usually 300 mg twice daily in combination with other anticancer agents, as prescribed by the treating physician.
- Food Intake: Can be taken with or without food.
- Administration: Swallow the tablets whole; do not chew, crush, or split.
- Schedule: Take approximately every 12 hours at the same times each day.
- Monitoring: Liver function and gastrointestinal toxicity should be monitored during treatment.
- Hypersensitivity to Tucatinib or any component of the product.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- Severe hepatic impairment.
- Use with caution in patients with severe diarrhea, dehydration, hepatotoxicity, or concomitant use of drugs affecting CYP2C8 and CYP3A.
Common adverse reactions include:
- 📉 Gastrointestinal: Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, stomatitis, abdominal pain.
- 🩸 Liver: Increased ALT, AST, and bilirubin.
- 💢 General: Fatigue, weakness, decreased appetite.
- 🦶 Skin: Palmar-plantar erythrodysesthesia syndrome (more common with capecitabine), rash.
- ⚠️ Other: Dehydration, increased creatinine, anemia.
