Prescribed by hematologists/hepatologists for adult patients with:

• 🔹 Chronic Liver Disease (CLD): Treatment of thrombocytopenia in patients scheduled to undergo an invasive procedure (to reduce the need for platelet transfusions).
• 🔹 Chronic Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP): Treatment of patients who have had an insufficient response to a previous treatment.

⚠️ APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

• Administration: Take orally with food (essential for efficacy). Swallow whole.
• For CLD (Pre-procedure): Usually a 5-day course beginning 10-13 days before the scheduled procedure. Dosage (40 mg or 60 mg daily) depends on the baseline platelet count.
• For Chronic ITP: Starting dose is typically 20 mg once daily. The doctor will adjust the dose to maintain platelet counts ≥ 50×10⁹/L.
• ✋ Missed Dose: Take as soon as possible with food. Do not double the next dose.

• ⛔ Pregnancy & Breastfeeding: Not recommended due to potential fetal harm.
• Hypersensitivity to Avatrombopag.
• History of thromboembolic events (requires careful risk assessment).
• Pediatric patients (safety not established).

Monitoring of platelet counts is mandatory. Potential side effects include:
