Natclovir — Ganciclovir 250 mg (30 Capsules)

Natclovir is prescribed by infectious disease specialists and transplantologists for the following indications:

• 🔹 CMV Retinitis: Treatment and maintenance therapy of retinal inflammation in immunocompromised patients (including those with AIDS).
• 🔹 CMV Prophylaxis: Prevention of cytomegalovirus disease in patients receiving immunosuppressive therapy after organ transplantation.
• 🔹 Generalized CMV Infection: Treatment of internal organ damage caused by cytomegalovirus.

Sales Form: The bottle contains 30 capsules of 250 mg ganciclovir.

⚠️ INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

• Administration: Capsules should be taken orally with food. Taking the drug with meals significantly increases its bioavailability and efficacy.
• Dosage: The dose is selected individually by a physician. The standard maintenance dose for adults is usually 1000 mg (4 capsules) three times a day or 500 mg 6 times a day (every 3 hours during waking hours).
• Dose Correction: Patients with renal impairment require mandatory dose adjustment based on creatinine clearance.
• Hydration: It is recommended to drink plenty of water during treatment to maintain normal kidney function.
• Storage: Store in a dry place, protected from light, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.

• ⛔ Blood Disorders: Significant neutropenia (neutrophil count less than 500 per 1 µl) or thrombocytopenia (less than 25,000 per 1 µl).
• ⛔ Pregnancy and Lactation: The drug has teratogenic effects. Categorically contraindicated for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
• ⛔ Reproductive Function: Men and women of childbearing age must use reliable methods of contraception during treatment and for at least 90 days after completion.
• ⛔ Renal Failure: Severe forms of terminal renal failure (unless the patient is on dialysis).
• ⛔ Allergy: Hypersensitivity to ganciclovir, acyclovir, or valacyclovir.
• ⛔ Pediatric Use: Use in children is limited due to the risk of long-term toxicity and carcinogenicity.
