Prescribed by a hematologist or oncologist for the treatment of:

• 🔹 Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL): For induction of remission and as part of maintenance therapy regimens in both children and adults.
• 🔹 Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).
• 🔹 Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML).
• 🔹 Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD): Such as Crohn's disease and Ulcerative Colitis (used off-label when standard therapy is insufficient).

Sales Unit: Carton box containing 100 tablets (10 x 10 tablets). Strength: 50 mg per tablet.

⚠️ APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

• Dosage: Must be strictly individualized by a physician based on body surface area (BSA) and weight. The usual starting dose is 2.5 mg/kg per day.
• Administration: Best taken in the evening, either 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal. Consistency in daily administration is crucial.
• ✋ Safety Note: As a cytotoxic drug, use gloves when handling split tablets. Pregnant women must avoid any contact with the medication.

• ⛔ Severe Bone Marrow Suppression: Pre-existing low levels of white blood cells or platelets.
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding (potential teratogenic risk).
• Hypersensitivity to mercaptopurine or any tablet components.
• Caution in patients with TPMT enzyme deficiency (increased risk of life-threatening toxicity).

Treatment requires rigorous monitoring of full blood counts and liver function tests. Potential side effects include:
