Encoraf Capsules — Encorafenib 75 mg (90 Caps) Everest

Prescribed by oncologists for the treatment of adult patients with:

• 🔹 Metastatic Melanoma:
  • With a confirmed BRAF V600E or V600K mutation.
  • Used in combination with binimetinib.
• 🔹 Metastatic Colorectal Cancer (CRC):
  • With a BRAF V600E mutation, after prior systemic therapy.
  • Used in combination with cetuximab.

Sales Unit: Bottle containing 90 capsules (75 mg strength).

⚠️ APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

• Standard Dosage (Melanoma): 450 mg (6 capsules of 75 mg) taken orally once daily.
• Standard Dosage (Colorectal Cancer): 300 mg (4 capsules of 75 mg) taken orally once daily.
• Administration: Take at the same time each day. Swallow whole with water. Can be taken with or without food.
• 🚫 Dietary Restriction: Do NOT consume grapefruit or grapefruit juice (risk of toxicity).
• ✋ Missed Dose: If the missed dose is within 12 hours of the scheduled time, take it. If more than 12 hours have passed, skip it. Do not double up.

• ⛔ Pregnancy & Breastfeeding: Strictly contraindicated (teratogenic).
• Hypersensitivity to Encorafenib.
• Wild-type BRAF: Not for use in patients without the specific BRAF mutation.
• Severe cardiac or hepatic impairment.

Treatment requires regular dermatological checks and ECG monitoring. Potential side effects include:

• 🦴 Musculoskeletal: Arthralgia (joint pain), myopathy.
• 🤢 Gastrointestinal: Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, constipation.
• 🧴 Skin: Rash, pruritus, hyperkeratosis (thickening of skin), hand-foot syndrome.
• 💤 General: Fatigue, fever (pyrexia).
• ❤️ Cardiac: QT interval prolongation.
• 👁️ Ocular: Uveitis/Iritis (eye inflammation).
