Fruquin Capsules — Fruquintinib 5 mg (21 Caps) Everest

Prescribed by oncologists for the treatment of adult patients with:

• 🔹 Metastatic Colorectal Cancer (mCRC): Who have been previously treated with fluoropyrimidine-, oxaliplatin-, and irinotecan-based chemotherapy, an anti-VEGF therapy, and, if RAS wild-type, an anti-EGFR therapy.

Sales Unit: Bottle containing 21 capsules (5 mg strength).

⚠️ APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

• Standard Dosage: 5 mg (one capsule) taken orally once daily.
• Treatment Cycle: Take for 21 days followed by 7 days off treatment. This constitutes a 28-day cycle.
• Administration: Swallow capsule whole with water. Can be taken with or without food. Take at the same time each day. Do not open, crush, or chew.
• ✋ Missed Dose: If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered unless the next dose is due within 12 hours. Do not take two doses at the same time.

• ⛔ Pregnancy & Breastfeeding: Strictly contraindicated due to fetal harm. Effective contraception is required.
• Severe hypersensitivity to Fruquintinib.
• Uncontrolled hypertension.
• Severe hepatic or renal impairment requires medical caution.

Blood pressure monitoring is critical, especially during the first month. Potential side effects include:

• 📈 Hypertension: High blood pressure (very common).
• 🗣️ Dysphonia: Hoarseness or voice changes.
• ✋ Hand-Foot Skin Reaction: Redness, swelling, or peeling on palms and soles.
• 🚽 Proteinuria: Protein in the urine.
• 💤 General: Fatigue, diarrhea, abdominal pain.
