Ponawell Tablets — Ponatinib 45 mg (30 Tablets) Heet Health Care
Ponawell 45 mg (Ponatinib) is a potent targeted anticancer therapy and a third-generation tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI). Ponatinib is uniquely designed to inhibit a wide range of targets, most notably the BCR-ABL1 protein with the T315I mutation. This specific mutation confers resistance to all other earlier-generation TKIs. By blocking abnormal proteins that drive uncontrolled white blood cell proliferation, Ponawell achieves deep hematologic and cytogenetic responses.
Manufacturer: Heet Health Care. This medicinal product is a high-quality generic of the innovator drug Iclusig. It is manufactured in strict compliance with international quality standards, ensuring full bioequivalence, identical active ingredient purity, and comparable therapeutic efficacy to the brand-name medication at a more accessible cost.
Key Features:
- ✅ Overcoming Resistance: The only TKI effective against the T315I "gatekeeper" mutation, which renders tumors resistant to standard treatments.
- ✅ Multi-kinase Inhibition: Beyond BCR-ABL, it targets VEGFR, PDGFR, and FGFR receptors, inhibiting tumor angiogenesis.
- ✅ High Potency: Engineered for patients who have failed or are intolerant to imatinib, dasatinib, or nilotinib.
Ponawell is prescribed for adult patients with the following conditions:
- 🔹 Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) in chronic, accelerated, or blast phase in patients resistant or intolerant to prior TKI therapy.
- 🔹 Philadelphia chromosome-positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (Ph+ ALL).
- 🔹 T315I mutation-positive CML or Ph+ ALL where other TKI treatments are not indicated.
