Revlimid 25 — Lenalidomide 25 mg (100 Capsules)
Revlimid (Lenalidomide) is a potent antineoplastic immunomodulator, a member of the IMiDs group. The drug possesses a unique triple mechanism of action: it directly inhibits the growth of malignant cells, blocks the development of blood vessels within the tumor (anti-angiogenic effect), and activates the body's own immune cells (T-cells and NK-cells) to fight cancer. Lenalidomide is a derivative of thalidomide but features significantly higher therapeutic activity and an improved safety profile.
Revlimid has revolutionized the treatment of multiple myeloma, transforming it from an acute disease into a manageable chronic condition. The drug works effectively both as part of combination therapy and as maintenance treatment after stem cell transplantation.
Key Features:
- ✅ Multimodal Action: Combines a direct attack on the tumor with potent stimulation of anti-tumor immunity.
- ✅ High Efficacy in MDS: The drug of choice for patients with myelodysplastic syndrome associated with the 5q deletion.
- ✅ Convenience: Oral form (capsules) allows for outpatient treatment.
Revlimid (Lenalidomide) is used for the treatment of adult patients with the following diseases:
- 🔹 Multiple Myeloma: In combination with dexamethasone or as maintenance therapy after bone marrow transplantation.
- 🔹 Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS): Treatment of patients with anemia caused by low or intermediate-1 risk MDS with a cytogenetic abnormality (5q deletion).
- 🔹 Mantle Cell Lymphoma (MCL): Treatment of patients with relapsed or refractory disease.
- 🔹 Follicular Lymphoma: In combination with rituximab for the treatment of previously treated patients.
Sales Form: 1 pack contains 100 capsules of 25 mg (as per image).
