Prescribed by an infectious disease specialist or hepatologist for the treatment of:

• 🔹 Chronic Hepatitis C (HCV): Strictly used as part of a combination regimen (alongside Sofosbuvir, Daclatasvir, Velpatasvir, or Pegylated Interferon alpha) for patients with various genotypes, including those with compensated cirrhosis.
• 🔹 Severe Viral Infections: In specific clinical scenarios, it may be used off-label for other viral diseases at the physician's discretion.

⚠️ APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

• Dosage Schedule: The daily dose is strictly weight-based, determined by the physician (typically ranging from 1000 mg to 1200 mg per day, i.e., 5-6 capsules).
• Administration: The daily dose must be divided into two intakes (morning and evening). Take the capsules with food and a glass of water. Do not chew, crush, or open the capsules.
• ✋ Crucial Warning: Ribavirin must never be used as a monotherapy for the treatment of Hepatitis C; it is only effective in combination with other specific antiviral drugs!

• ⛔ Pregnancy (STRICTLY CONTRAINDICATED): This medication is highly teratogenic and embryocidal (causes severe birth defects). Both male and female patients must use 2 effective forms of birth control during treatment and for 6 months after stopping.
• Severe or unstable cardiac disease (especially within the last 6 months).
• Blood disorders (hemoglobinopathies, thalassemia, sickle-cell anemia).
• Severe renal or hepatic impairment.

• 🤢 Gastrointestinal: Loss of appetite, nausea, dry mouth.
