Alkixen Capsules — Crizotinib 250 mg (60 Caps) Everest

Prescribed by oncologists for the treatment of adult patients with:

• 🔹 Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC): Metastatic NSCLC that is ALK-positive as detected by an FDA-approved test.
• 🔹 ROS1-Positive NSCLC: Metastatic NSCLC with ROS1 gene alterations.

Sales Unit: Bottle containing 60 capsules (250 mg strength). Usually sufficient for a 1-month supply.

⚠️ APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

• Standard Dosage: 250 mg (one capsule) taken orally twice daily.
• Administration: Swallow capsules whole with water. Can be taken with or without food. Do not crush, dissolve, or open capsules.
• Grapefruit Warning: 🚫 Do not consume grapefruit or grapefruit juice during treatment (increases risk of toxicity).
• ✋ Missed Dose: Take as soon as remembered unless the next dose is due within 6 hours. Do not double up.

• ⛔ Pregnancy & Breastfeeding: Strictly contraindicated. Can cause fetal harm. Effective contraception is mandatory.
• Congenital Long QT Syndrome.
• Hypersensitivity to Crizotinib.
• Severe hepatic or renal impairment (dose adjustment required).

Monitoring is required. Potential side effects include:

• 👁️ Vision Disorders: Visual trails, flashes of light, or blurred vision (very common, usually mild).
• 🤢 Gastrointestinal: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation.
• 💧 Edema: Swelling of hands, feet, or face.
• ❤️ Cardiac: Bradycardia (slow heart rate), QT prolongation on ECG.
