Taxeleon (Paclitaxel) 100 mg / 16.67 ml Injection

Indicated for:

• Ovarian Cancer: First-line and second-line therapy.
• Breast Cancer: Adjuvant and metastatic treatment.
• Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC).
• Kaposi's Sarcoma.

Vial Strength: 100 mg.

Ensure you have sufficient vials for the total calculated dose (based on Body Surface Area).

⚠️ STRICT ADMINISTRATION PROTOCOLS:

• 🚫 Non-PVC Equipment Only: Use glass or polyolefin containers/tubing. The solvent leaches plasticizers from standard PVC.
• ⚙️ In-line Filter: Must be administered through a 0.22-micron in-line filter.
• 💉 Pre-medication: Mandatory corticosteroids and antihistamines prior to infusion to prevent hypersensitivity.

• Severe Neutropenia (< 1,500/mm³).
• Known hypersensitivity to Paclitaxel or polyoxyl 35 castor oil.
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
• Uncontrolled infections.

Expected side effects:

• Alopecia: Universal total hair loss.
• Myalgia/Arthralgia: Severe muscle/joint pain shortly after treatment.
• Neuropathy: Peripheral numbness/tingling.
• Hypersensitivity: Risk of anaphylaxis during infusion.
