Used primarily in combination therapy regimens:

• Testicular Cancer: Germ cell tumors (in BEP regimen).
• Lymphomas: Hodgkin's lymphoma and Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (in ABVD regimen).
• Squamous Cell Carcinoma: Head and neck, cervix, skin, external genitalia.
• Malignant Pleural Effusion: To prevent fluid accumulation in the lungs (sclerotherapy).

Form: Powder for injection in a vial (15 mg).

Administered intravenously, intramuscularly, or subcutaneously.

• Dosage is calculated by the doctor based on body surface area.
• Critically Important: There is a maximum cumulative dose (usually 400 mg per lifetime). Exceeding this limit causes irreversible lung damage.

• Lung Diseases: Acute infections or pulmonary fibrosis.
• Hypersensitivity to Bleomycin.
• Severe renal impairment.
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding period.

Specific bodily reactions:

• 🫁 Lungs (Main Risk): Pneumonitis and fibrosis. Any cough or shortness of breath requires immediate examination.
• Skin: Darkening of the skin (hyperpigmentation), thickening, appearance of stripes on the body.
• Fever: Rise in temperature a few hours after injection.
• ✅ Feature: Usually causes significantly less hair loss than other cytostatics.
