Oxalion 50 mg (Oxaliplatin) Injection
Oxalion 50 mg (Oxaliplatin) is a platinum-based antineoplastic agent used in chemotherapy.
Manufacturer: Biotech / Medion. This is the 50 mg vial size. It is specifically designed to allow for precise dosage calculation based on the patient's Body Surface Area (BSA), often used alongside the larger 100 mg vials.
Mechanism of Action:
Oxaliplatin inhibits DNA replication and transcription by forming cross-links within the DNA strands of cancer cells. This cytotoxic action prevents the tumor cells from dividing and growing.
