Dosage and administration

⚠️ For Intravenous Infusion Only. Dilution Instructions: Withdraw the required dose from the vial and dilute in 250-500 ml of solvent. 🚫 NO SALINE: Do NOT use Sodium Chloride (NaCl) or chloride-containing solutions. ✅ YES DEXTROSE: Dilute ONLY in 5% Dextrose Injection. Infusion Rate: Administer over 2 to 6 hours via a central or peripheral line.

Severe renal impairment (Creatinine clearance < 30 mL/min). Pre-existing peripheral sensitive neuropathy with functional impairment. Myelosuppression prior to starting treatment. Pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Acute Cold Dysesthesia: Patients must avoid cold exposure for 3-5 days post-infusion to prevent acute laryngopharyngeal dysesthesia (feeling of suffocation): ❄️ Avoid ice/cold drinks. ❄️ Avoid cold air conditioning or winter air. ❄️ Avoid touching cold metal or items from the fridge. Other effects: Nausea, diarrhea, cumulative neuropathy.
