Daclaxen (Daclatasvir) Tablets
Daclaxen 60 mg (Daclatasvir) is a highly effective NS5A inhibitor (Direct-Acting Antiviral) used to treat Hepatitis C.
Manufacturer: Everest Pharmaceuticals. Each pack contains 28 tablets. It works by targeting the NS5A protein, which is essential for the replication and assembly of the Hepatitis C virus (HCV).
Crucial Information:
Daclatasvir must never be used alone. It is always prescribed in combination with Sofosbuvir. This dual therapy stops the virus at multiple stages of its lifecycle.

Indicated for use in combination with other medicinal products for the treatment of chronic Hepatitis C (CHC) in adults:

⚠️ ADMINISTRATION PROTOCOL (Combination Therapy Only):
- 💊 Dose: One tablet (60 mg) taken orally once daily.
- 🕒 Consistency: Take at the same time every day to maintain viral suppression.
- 🍲 With/Without Food: Can be taken with or without food. Swallow whole.
- 📅 Duration: Typically 12 weeks. Can be extended to 24 weeks for difficult-to-treat cases (e.g., decompensated cirrhosis).
- Monotherapy: Do not take alone; must be combined with Sofosbuvir.
- Hypersensitivity to the active substance.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- Co-administration with strong inducers of cytochrome P450 3A4 (e.g., St. John’s wort, rifampicin, carbamazepine, phenytoin).
When used with Sofosbuvir, the regimen is generally well-tolerated. Common side effects include:
