Naivex Tablets — Dolutegravir 50 mg (30 Tablets) Hetero

Naivex is prescribed by an infectious disease specialist for the treatment of adults and adolescents (weighing more than 40 kg) with the following indications:

• 🔹 Treatment of HIV-1 infection as part of combination antiretroviral therapy (ART).
• 🔹 Can be used in treatment-naive patients (those who have not previously received treatment) as well as treatment-experienced patients (in the absence of resistance to integrase inhibitors).

Sales Form: 1 bottle containing 30 tablets of 50 mg dolutegravir.

⚠️ INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

• Dosage Regimen: The standard dose for most patients is 50 mg (1 tablet) once daily. If resistance to other integrase inhibitors is present, the doctor may prescribe twice-daily dosing.
• Method of Administration: Tablets are taken orally, regardless of food intake. It is advisable to take the drug at the same time each day.
• Interaction with Antacids: If you take medications for heartburn containing aluminum, magnesium, or calcium, take Naivex 2 hours before or 6 hours after them.
• Storage: Store at temperatures up to 30°C in a dry place, in a tightly closed bottle.

• ⛔ Drug Interaction: Co-administration with dofetilide (heart medication) and pimozide is strictly prohibited.
• ⛔ Weight: Not intended for children and adolescents weighing less than 40 kg.
• ⛔ Pregnancy: The decision to take the drug is made strictly by the treating physician. It is recommended to use reliable methods of contraception during therapy.
• Hypersensitivity to dolutegravir or any component of the drug.

Naivex is usually very well tolerated; side effects occur rarely and often resolve on their own within the first weeks of intake:

• 🧠 Central Nervous System: Insomnia, headache, unusual dreams, dizziness.
• 🤢 GI Tract: Nausea, diarrhea, slight abdominal discomfort.
• 🏃‍♂️ General: Fatigue, skin rash (in rare cases, serious allergic reactions are possible).
• 🧪 Laboratory Parameters: A slight increase in blood creatinine levels (usually does not affect kidney function).
